SLR patha kalam lo vade vallu, Reel Camera's unapudu .. DSLR is nothing but 'Digital' SLR - Ikkada photo reel vade badulu .. Digital storage vadatharu like SD cards anthe teda ...

I used Nikon D40 for 3 years .. ippudu aa model manufacture cheyatledu .. it is now made into NIkon D3100 .. so, go for it ....

ok for budget of 400 i will buy this one for sure full functional cannon g12.... slr and dslr are will be fancy camera in your hands if u are not a regular photogrpaher and who can't spend more time on adjusting camera lenses...... and u will also feel uncomfrotable to carry the bulky package of slr...

D5100 always better than D3100 my opinion i used a friends D3100 sucked for me atleast if you really want to buy one i would say D5100 should be good.
