I have 3 years of IT experience and in that first 6 months as Informatica developer and remaining as SAP Data Analyst (Data Loads into SAP ECC 6.0 using MS Access ). Now i am in dilemma whether to back to Informatica or make career in SAP BW side.(Pls note that i almost forgot Informatica and needs to be refreshed and SAP BW is not a big deal to learn for me as i am familiar with SAP since 2 years). I want to know advantages and disadvantages of both from experts here in this DB. The below things i noticed in my quick research. 1)Informatica:- a)Lot of requirements. b)Fairly long term projects (9-18 months on avg) c)Little less billing compare to SAP BW d)Need to concentrate on lot of other side tools & data bases. 2)SAP BW/BI a)Little less in requirements. b)Term of the projects ???? I want to know from experts. c)Fairly high billing. d)Have to learn other modules within SAP like HANA, BO suite and little knowledge of other modules in SAP.
