I was having my interview at 10:00 AM, I reached the consulate at 9:00 A.M

1. You will be waiting in the line to enter in to building, your passport, I-797, DS form and appointment confirmation page will be checked
2. No backpack, cell phones, flash drives or any other electronics are allowed in to the building
3. Once they confirm that you are carrying nothing other than the documents, you will be sent to 1st floor
4. In 1st floor they take your passport, DS form and I-797 and give you a token number, they verify those docs and give it back to you (do not worry if your photo is not uploaded when you have filled the application, you can carry a hard copy of your photo and can submit in this counter)
5. Watch for your token number on the screen,once it is shown, you will be assisted by a person to take you to 20th floor where the actual interview will be conducted.
6. In counter 3, you are suppose to give your finger prints
7. Then wait for your token number and counter number which you will be interviewed ( On the day of mine at counters 2,4,5,6 H-1B persons were being interviewed)
