Responsibilities


• Client Network Access Control team is currently seeking a Principal SQA Engineer who has extensive experience working with network communication protocols TCPIP and IPX, Network Security environment,  and wireless technologies.
• Should have a good understanding of OSI model layers.
• The Principal SQA Engineer works with minimal supervision on analysis tasks and with little or no supervision on designing enterprise network model .
• Collaborates within and across groups in writing test cases and test design.
• Identifies bottlenecks and suggests solutions to improve the product and/or QA process.
• Identify, propose, and implement QA/test planning, quality metrics & process improvements and manage defect reports.
• Uses professional concepts and comes up with innovative techniques to solve a wide range of difficult problems.  Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly.
• The ideal candidate will participate and lead the decision making on the design and implementation of solutions that employ leading-edge technologies.

Qualifications
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering , or equivalent experience.
• 8 + years of software industry experience with 4-5 years in Software Quality Assurance.
• Should be able to develop test plan and strategy and identify both whitebox testing and blackbox testing test cases.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance process and execution including test cases and test plans, high performance networking systems, software development, and networking protocols.
• Good understanding of EAP/PEAP Authentication protocols. Strong understanding of 802.1q, 802.1d /spanning tree/rstp/rpvst, routing, and bridging.
• Exposure to multiple network switches, routers, VPNs. Configure complex enterprise test environments: switches, routers, VPNs, Windows and Linux operating systems, and applications.
• Previous experience of developing automation strategy as well as its successful implementation.
• Should have a good understanding of scripting languages such as VB Script, PERL. Write, review and execute test cases for Enterprise Security product.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and must be a strong team player. A high energy level, the ability to set and achieve individual goals, and great interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work and communicate well with the other members of the team. Good understating of Routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, and BGP. Implementation experience desired.
