[font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]The successful candidate will work with the team in the development of enterprise-class data solutions. This position will implement our efforts around “best fit data architecture” using one or more database technologies including Transactional DB, NoSQL DB, MPP databases, massive distributed non structured databases, both in terms of engineering the backend solutions and providing operational support. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years deep experience with a variety of database technologies including Oracle and/or NoSQL data stores. The candidate must be capable of understanding data strategy on enterprise level but implement on project level and have the excellent communication skills necessary to successfully interact with, solution architects, product owners, Project managers, developers, business analysts and testers. The candidate will be required to develop DDL and DML scripts for Oracle and SQL server databases as well as work with a third party data synchronization solution in conjunction with other team members. This role is expected to have strong troubleshooting skills and have a strong understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.[/size][/size][/font][/size][/font][font=arial, sans-serif][size=3]

[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Work with Workflow engineers, product owners and Subject Matter Experts to understand the data.[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Coordinates with Data architects to determine requirements .Analyzes, designs, creates and implements more complex databases including access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security.[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Implement complex physical data models, data dictionaries and schemas. Build database scripts adhering to the standards defined by data organization[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Liaisons with database software vendors and external technical support on issues such as software upgrades, problems and potential solutions.[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Investigate source systems to locate and understand existing data.[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Create documents and coordinate script deployment with Data Operations .[/size][/size][/font]

[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Minimum requirements include at least 1-5 years of full time experience as an database engineer or equivalent in a scientific or technical environment[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Experience with SQL, SQL tuning, and Oracle data extraction and modification.[/size][/size][/font]
[*][font="Times New Roman"][size="3"][size=3]Strong organization and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with and balance multiple priorities. Ability to deal with ambiguity and rapid change. Demonstrated interaction skills across a wide spectrum of technical contacts and teams.[/size][/size][/font]
