[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]The project is looking to engage two (2) Senior PeopleSoft – DataStage Ascential ETL Developers in the data warehouse area. This is for the Development phase of the implementation of PeopleSoft EPM 9.1.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]1. Work closely with the project analysts to understand the design specifications.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]2. Create new or modify existing ETL jobs in Ascential DataStage per design specifications.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]3. Document all code changes and adhere and follow development standards.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]4. Unit test all customizations that are done, assist in migration efforts and knowledge transfer to staff of changes made.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]5. Work closely with the testing team to help validate and ensure the customizations are performing according to specifications.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]6. Conduct some level of performance tuning as needed, chunking, or other possible tuning efforts as needed.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]7. Being detailed oriented is a must, obtain sign off from the appropriate leads and ability to stay organized and reporting status will be required.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]8. Work closely with the technical team to understand the different design and possible data model to understand what and how testing needs to be done.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]9. The contractor will be expected to provide complete knowledge transfer to project team members to cover the work completed prior to the end of the contract.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]10. Working directly with developers to ensure that functional and technical specifications for customizations meet business requirements.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]A minimum of 5 years of in-depth ETL development experience with PeopleSoft EPM, Ascential DataStage (8.1) or data warehouse is required. There is a strong preference for candidates with previous PeopleSoft EPM experience. This experience should have been gained working on implementation project teams, spanning multiple full lifecycle implementation projects. Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft data structures, configuration and setup designs, and business processes within the ETL/EPM/OBIEE modules and strong understanding of tables/record definitions and ability to write and understand SQL is required.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
[font=Arial, sans-serif][size=2][size=2][size=2]Familiarity with Oracle/PeopleSoft development technologies (PeopleCode, Application Designer, Component Interface, and Application Engine) sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers is desired. Additional knowledge on reporting tools, star schema, snowflake, type 1 and type 2 dimensions also is preferred. Additional experience working with other ETL tools Informatica would be helpful. OBIEE and BI Publisher experience would also be preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are required. Experience with implementing EPM for HCM and/or Finance, preferred. Experience creating/implementing test scripts.[/size][/size][/size][/font]
