[size=4]As a web developer, you will work as part of a small team building cutting edge Single Page Applications(SPAs) focusing on data visualization. Part of your responsibility will be to help translate wireframes and prototype code into reusable, scalable code. You will also be a key player in determining the technologies we employ for future developments and be involved in solving difficult technical challenges, forstarters client-side data security, client/server interfacing, and cross-platform deployment.[/size]
[size=4]The ideal candidate is an expert web developer with a primary focus on front-end JavaScript development and experience with back-end infrastructure. You should have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI.[/size]

[size=4]Expert knowledge of JavaScript and DOM manipulation.[/size]
[size=4]In-depth knowledge of web standards and best practices (specifically HTML5/CSS3)[/size]
[size=4]Experience with client-side libraries/frameworks such as JQuery[/size]
[size=4]Understanding of SVG, Canvas, and JavaScript visualization frameworks (specifically D3)[/size]
[size=4]Understanding of web services technologies such as AJAX, SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST Familiarity withdatabase platforms (relational as well as NoSQL)[/size]
[size=4]Experience with code optimization, debugging, and unit testing[/size]
[size=4]Strong eye for compelling visual and user-focused design is a plus[/size]
[size=4]Experience working with server side code such as PHP or .NET. is a plus Familiarity with HTML5-based or native code mobile app development is a plus Demonstrated expertise. [/size]

[size=4]5 years related experience in web development Significant code library contribution to the open source community (your own or bug fixes on others)[/size]

[size=4]Financial knowledge and interest is a plus[/size]
[size=4]Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities a must[/size]
