Additional Info:
This project is the launch of the Revenue Dashboard and Operational reporting using Business Objects, Xcelsius, with Oracle AR as data source and SQL Server as the data mart. There are a set of 40 reports out of which 14 have been developed and validated. The remaining 26 reports need validation and/or development and a strong SQL knowledge with understanding data tables in Oracle EBS, needed to fast cycle the completion of the remaining reports. We are leaning toward resource being heavier on the Data Modeling skills and PL/SQL. This is a critical resource for a relatively short time so we need to be 100% sure about candidate selected.

Critical skill sets we are looking for in this resource:
1. SQL PL/SQL-Mandatory -- The candidate must have excellent PL/SQL skills, have hands-on experience in creating and debugging complex SQL, such as multi nested queries, OLAP functions in SQL, Query optimization and redesign. Must have good SDLC experience in documentation of work done.
2. Data Modeling experience-Mandatory -- The candidate must possess knowledge of Data Modeling techniques such as Dimensional and Entity Relationship. Must know the difference between schema types, cardinality/ordinality, CDM/LDM/PDM conversions, Data Naming Standards.
3. Business Intelligence-Mandatory -- Experience with implementation of BI projects. Candidate must have executed at least 1 large BI project with use of ANY BI tools, such as Business Objects, Microstrategy, Actuate, COGNOS, OBIEE.
4. Oracle EBS-Strongly Preferred -- Candidate should have experience in Oracle EBS implementations (ERP) and familiarity with the Oracle Repository.

5. Communication Skills-Strongly Preferred -- Strong communication skills given they will be interacting with key team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Ø Completed a tool selection analysis and proof of concept in obiee 11g for implementing OBIEE 11g for analytics istead of creating a home grown dashboard.
Ø Various Oracle AR Analytics out of box reports are developed and customized for proof of concept in comparison with existing operational reports and dashboards.
Ø Designed Various Finance/Supply chain Metrics reports using OBIEE Answers and Dashboards.
Ø Responsible for creating the logical and physical data model needed for FedEx Techconnect - Revenue team to create the Revenue dashboard which should work with sub second response time.
Ø In the POC phase, responsible for creating ETL packages in SSIS and load the designed physical data model with data from Oracle Finance EBS.
Ø Designed and developed a customized dashboard friendly Datamart in SQLServer 2008 from scratch.
Ø Created a data strategy to extend the proof of concept into full scale Teradata based FedEx Enterprise data warehouse based reporting solution.
Ø Worked closely with the ENABLE Oracle business SME's to understand the Revenue dashboard requirements and converted them into technical requirements to design and develop appropriate data model and ETL to fulfill the required dashboard requirements.
Ø Actively engaged as SQL specialist to tune the existing Oracle Finance operational report queries for optimum performance.
Ø Designed and developed Universes and reports in Business Objects 4.0 for operational reporting project.
Ø Evaluated the change requests submitted by end users and prioritize them based schedule and scope of the project.
Ø Worked on data mining of the collected history data from Oracle EBS to create solid business case for going ahead with full scale EDW based dashboard project.
Ø Created and deployed new reusable data cleansing procedures to improve data quality for One source based Invoice adjustment information.
