Its been 24 hours since I have read the news of Sachin retiring and countless times the eyes have become moist with that thought. Several times, I closed my eyes and imagined how my childhood would have been without Sachin, and I found some of the most intriguing and inspiring moments that has shaped me as a person who, and the way i think and approach life now - has been influenced by him. He instilled in me - the confidence that it is possible to think of winning from every situation, the belief that no matter however the adverse the situation is for anyone, there can be an exception. Plethora of instances come to mind when the whole team struggled to put bat on ball - but this guy simple massacred the attack.
Thanks to him for giving us 5 weeks of reconciliation time, after which a perennial state of national mourning will ensue[img]http://www.gifsoup.com/view1/1557707/bunny-o.gif[/img]

A true gentleman and ambassador for the sport. He was the most adored and admired cricketer by Sir Don Bradman. He was a colossal titan amidst his contemporaries and a symbol to youngsters and cricket lovers. May his glory be forever written into the annals of cricket legend.
