But lately, with the light hand of modern designers and architects, some bridges have found another one, not typical for them, function: they serve as observation platform for exploring the most remarkable sites and phenomena. One of these structure is amazing bridge called "Path in the Forest", built in 2011 in the city of Tallinn Kadriorg held here as part of the festival installations LIFT11. All other installations in LIFT11 were selected through a design competition, but Kondo was invited to create the Path. It was realized in partnership with the EU-Japan Fest Japan Committee. According to the authors of the project, the Japanese architect Tetsuo Kondo, this unusual design that gently meandered through the trees and stood a few meters above the ground, had to change the stereotype, stating that walk and enjoy the beauty of plants can only be at her level.
