Amala, who shot fame with Mynaa, Deiva Thirumagal and recent Vijay's Thalaivaa is set to pair opposite director-actor Samuthirakani in his upcoming untitled film.

Samuthirakani, who proved himself to be an established actor through Subramaniapuram, Easan and Sattai is set to play the lead role in his own direction for the first time. Remember, Amala Paul is the female lead in the forthcoming Tamil Telugu bilingual film Jayam Ravi's Nimrndhu Nil directed by Samuthirakani.
