rapchickraja
Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party, says the buzz. Chiranjeevi entered politics by forming Praja Rajyam Party in 2008 and after the party's poor performance in 2009 elections, he merged PRP into Congress. Later on, he became Union Minister of State for Tourism and headed the Congress Party's election campaign for the Congress Party in 2014. Congress party failed to win a single seat in Andhra Pradesh and Chiranjeevi said that their party has accepted the verdict given by Telugu people. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalyan has become a powerful leader in Andhra Pradesh by supporting BJP and TDP in the state. Both BJP and TDP leaders felt that Pawan became a game changer in these elections and played a key role in their win. That's not all, Narendra Modi and Chandra Babu Naidu have personally thanked Pawan Kalyan for his contributions to National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Now, Chiranjeevi became insecure at his brother's success and he revealed his feeling in the press meets, by stating that Pawan Kalyan hasn't done any damage to Congress Party. At the same time, Chiranjeevi sent feelers to BJP that he is willing to join their party. Our sources informed that BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu already had a word with Chiranjeevi and the party is desperately looking for a charismatic politician to strengthen up their roots in Andhra Pradesh. With Pawan Kalyan already supporting them, BJP felt that if they can get Chiranjeevi on board, party will be strong enough. We are yet to receive an official announcement about this sudden development but it shouldn't surprise anyone as the Telugu people has already understood that Chiranjeevi is nothing but a power hungry politician.
