India lo doctor ga settle avvalante, MCI council exam pass avvali, only then she can practice or go for PG.
USA lo doctor gane settle avvalante, definitely all 3 steps pass avvali. ippudu ikkada Residency ki chala competition undhi, especially for International medical grads. it needs lots and lots of hardwork.

Already interest ledhu inka doctor laga continue avvanu ani decide ayithe, other options- MS (pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, biochemoistry), MPH, MHA
Ivannitiki GRE and TOEFL required with good scores.. ivvi chadhavalanna 2-3 yrs paduthundhi. Find out if she can do atleast GRE and TOEFL and spend 2-3 yrs.

last option- learn some courses and go for IT jobs.

MS option baga suit avtadi emo...

Also regarding USMLE, 3 steps untayi, step 1, step 2 lo 2 components (CK and CS), step 3

H1 visa kavalante, step 3 kuda mundhe avvali. GC unte tharvatha, i mean residency join ayyaka kuda rayochu.

step 1 and step 2 CK india or USA ekkadanna rayochu, but step 2 CS and step 3 matram usa lo rayali.

motham 3 exams ki fees as per today for International medical graduates in USA.

step 1 - 850, step 2 CK - 850, step 2 CS - 1480 step 3 - 800

India lo raasthe 140+140$ additional fee.

Time required for completing 3 exams - varies from 1-2 yrs.

So its a very long and stressful process.

i have seen some couples, wife doc and husband IT field, papam vaallu exams stress lo untaru, veellu time spend cheyadam ledhu ani, exams ki antha time enduku padthundhi ani ila complaints, fights etc etc.

doctors life chala busy ga untadhi, wife should take care of all household work, should take care of kids completely, should cook very frequently lanti opinions unte assalu vaddhu. tharvatha adjustment probs chala untayi.
