same case as urs. I went to jamaica just 10 days before my project was ending. Got stamped and came back to US and will visit india soon.

 

I saw in Jamaica there were some opt to h1 folks who did not even have client letter and got stamped successfully. As long as your employer is clean without any history of malpractices then i don't think u will need to worry about any letters. They will ask basic documents during stamping.
