Temper, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is a revenge drama in the backdrop of aesthetic surgery. It has Jr.NTR in the lead role. Kajal played female lead. Bandla ganesh is the producer.

Story Plot:

Daya (NTR) is a sub inspector of police, he is fully corrupted, criminal minded and 100% cunning. Daya (NTR) taking bribes from villain Prakash Raj and leave free hand in crime. Daya (NTR) fall in love with Kajal and she is a animal lover. After some intresting twists Daya (NTR) turns a honest cop and goes some tactical and emotional incidents on villains. Why Daya (NTR) changed from corrupted to honest cop? what is the main twist? Why NTR shown Sixpack? How is the Climax? is the rest of the story.

Performances:
Jr.NTR has done a decent job. His screen presence is terrific. He once again entertains you with terrific dances and electrifying actions. Prakash raj once again excelled in his role and he is the backbone of Temper. Though Prakash raj role is a routine villain, he made it big with his unique dialogue delivery.Ali did an okay job. Kajal is neat and sensuous and looks sexy.

Tanekella Bharani and Vennela Kishore are wasted. Kota Srinivasa Rao steals the show . Sapathgiri comedy one liners are a big relief. Madhurima’s dance is great in an item number.Posani once again leaves his trade mark of dialogues.

Technical Aspects:

Vakkantham Vamsi’s story is very much routine except for the backdrop. Puri wrote average dialogues except for one or two punches. Puri’s screenplay is plain but his direction is good. Editing is okay. Though Anup Rubens’s music was disappointing, all the songs are good on screen. Manisharma BGM is excellent and Temper theme is terrific. Cinematography and production values are of top notch.

Analysis:

Makers of Temper boasted that the film is made with a never-before script. But you will be totally disappointed if you watch it expecting a new concept. Temper ends up as a routine revenge drama.
Temper is filled with plenty of logicless scenes. Every character in Temper reminds you of one or the other character of so many masala flicks. Comedy plays key role if the subject is routine. But Puri Jagannadh completely neglected it as if he were making a cult classic. In spite of routine story, script of Temper has so much scope for twists. But Puri’s laziness made those twists predictable.

Temper has a promising start. But the tempo falls after first 30 minutes. Interval episode may give you some excitement. But second half again falls flat with a routine battle between NTR and Prakash raj. But still, as Temper is full of commercial elements, its success is guaranteed. Action sequences, dances and heroism will surely put Temper in the list of Jr.NTR hits.

Verdict:
I have no doubt about commercial success of Temper. But I am hugely disappointed as I was promised an out of the box film and shown a routine copy and paste work. The film has no logical scenes or magical moments. Temper is a feast for hardcore mass fans of Jr.NTR who earlier embraced films like Adhurs and Baadshah. But for others, it is strictly a one time watch.
