Help Regarding my OPT!! Urgent help

Hello Guys,

I have a problem, I have applied for my OPT and the start date is on June-24th,2010. Meanwhile I have secured an entry level job and he wants me to start by May20th, I have checked with my university If they can Issue me a CPT but they said it is not possible as they have already applied for my OPT....So guys please advise me what best I can do, for sure I dont want to let go the job but it is an immediate requirement. Please help me guys.

tell them u will work as a contractor and find some consultansy...so these guys pay to ur consultansy...but the consultansy guys will run ur pay checks after u get ur opt

I think you can say them that you will work without pay until u get ur opt card....

Dude Nippuravva i don't think u can work. I think u will have t ask ur employers to wait until u get ur EAD. By the way wher do ya stay? U have the same start date as mine....
