basic requirements: should be in usa for atleast 2 years , have valid visa status
step 1: call the nearest recruiting station (search in google) talk with a seargent and express ur intrest in MAVNI then make an appointment.
2) take ssn,i20,passport,birth certificate,degree documents to the nearest recruiting station with you.
3)They will ask you to take a pre-asvab test(reasoning,aptitude,vocab,math,engineering) basic questions lot easier than gre.If you pass that pre asvab they will start the process.
4) You will sign the forms for uscis g485 , uscis will determine your eligibility for citizenship and army.
5) then after the result came back from uscis(typically takes a week mine took a day was pretty lucky)
6)Seargent will call you to take the asvab test in MEPS(federal military processing building-yes same buildings like they show in movies)..
7)ssg will drive you to meps and you have to take the test for 3 and half hours.(easy test)
8)now it will be late in the evening so they will provide you the hotel for night and you have to share the hotel that night with another applicant and dinner will be provided.
9)Next day early morning by 3:30 you gotta get ready and go down for bf and hop in to a bus which will drive to meps.
10)Physical test will start by 5:30 and it involves vision,ear,ortho,blood,urine,hiv,drug,fitness tests and they will take around 7 hours straight yes and i came out of meps by 3:pm in the evening.There will be a nude test where you will be asked to drop your pants and the doctor will firmly catch your balls and ask you to cough (this test is to see whether you have any diseases or not)..
i passed all these .. :P.final test would be you sitting with a group in underwears and doing exercises like duck walk,marching,kicking,jumping as directed by ssg in a room.
11)Then wait patiently till the physical report shows up and if you pass both asvab and physical congrats you are 70% done.
12)now you will be given lots of paper work to fill for background checks by FBI.
13)after that you have to give opi test( oral proficiency test in the language you chose). will be a phony thingy and they typically want you to converse in the language as a native speaker.
14)thats it once its done and you passed then you have to wait for the day and they will call you in to choose from a list of jobs you are eligible for depends on the asvab score) ...and take a oath and sign contract for 4 years.
14)mean while you will be given a date for basic combat training to ship, which will be exactly 3 mnths later...and in this time your background check runs.

after the long wait you will ship to training thats it..bct is for 12 weeks and after the 12th week you will be awarded citizenship..hoaah!
