H1B Approved Till August 2018

Bhayyas  , naa H1 approve ayyindhi .Kaani visa is from October 2015 to August 25 2018 ani employer cheppadu . So naa doubt enti ante  , if I apply for H1b extension , will it start from October of that year  , or August 26 , 2018 .If it starts  in October , aa oka month out of status (September 2018), out of status lo vuntana??Thanks.
