MySQL and Postgres fall into one category and MongoDB falls into another. For the first one, its very difficult to get a good job in the UK - NOt sure if its in USA. I'm currently managing and administering all the three technologies in parllel. That's the reason, I've kept MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
