Responsibilities:
✓ Support mobile application and server-side deployments, ensuring flawless execution and infrastructure readiness for optimal performance and stability.
✓ Consult on environment setup and overall infrastructure.
✓ Establish necessary optional processes and implement on-going improvements and optimizations, including
automation where possible.
✓ Improve and champion our build and deployment process for our mobile health products.
✓ Develop an actionable plan for moving from dedicated hosting/physical servers to a cloud-based environment,
outlining all necessary steps, considerations and risks.
✓ Establish a plan and implement automated application deployment within software containers.
✓ Monitor, analyze, and report performance statistics for hosting environment and infrastructure.
✓ Manage 3rd party hosting partner ensuring SLAs are met.
✓ Manage all infrastructure change requests and service requests related to our hosting provider.
✓ Ensure security of hosted systems by monitoring security vulnerability reports and driving necessary change requests
to patch the systems.
✓ Atlassian tool administration (JIRA, Stash, Bamboo).

Experience:
✓ Managing software development and web/mobile deployments for critical production systems, including, mobile app
packaging and deployment experience to App Stores
✓ Configuration management
✓ Continuous deployment, integration and delivery throughout the software engineering lifecycle
✓ IT operations, including Linux administration
✓ Access control list integration such as LDAP, Active Directory
✓ Virtualized environments and deployment automation using software containers, preferably Docker.
✓ Cloud system architecture and hosting, preferably Amazon Web Services.
✓ Writing technical documentation.
✓ Maintaining and integrating with software development tools like JIRA, Confluence and Bamboo
✓ Agile

Job Skills & Requirements:

✓ A blend of tool and scripting ability, with expertise in automation
✓ Familiarity with at least 2 development languages

Proficiency with:
○ "NetEng" operations -- zoning in public/private clouds
○ Configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, etc).
○ Monitoring tools like Nagios, Munin, Zenoss, New Relic, etc.
○ Release Engineering tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Capistrano, etc.
✓ Excellent communication, presentation and collaborative problem-solving skills
✓ Familiarity with Relational stores (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
✓ Familiarity with NoSQL stores (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Kafka, etc.)
