This is info i saw...

 

 

The MAVNI program is also restricted to healthcare professionals or experts in certain key languages with associated cultural backgrounds. Applicants in the healthcare professional recruit category must:

Be licensed in their specialty healthcare profession;

Demonstrate a proficiency in English;

Be committed to at least three years of active duty or six years in the Selected Reserve;

Pass the Armed Forces Qualification Test; and

Be legally present in the United States at the time of enlistment for a minimum of two years without a single absence from the country of more than 90 days.

Applicants in the language recruit category must:

Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following native languages: Bengali, Burmese, Cambodian-Khmer, Cebuano, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Lao, Malay, Malayalam, Moro, Nepalese, Singhalese, Tagalog, Tamil, or Thai (full list here);

  6. Education: Must be a current high school senior, high school graduate, or higher.
  7. Trainability: Must score a 50 or higher on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
  8. Physical: Must be able to meet procurement physical fitness standards. Medical waivers are authorized however, drug and alcohol waivers are not.
  9. Misconduct: No waivers for misconduct will be authorized
  10. Affiliation: Applicants cannot have a current or remaining affiliation with another country’s Armed Forces which includes Reserve or Guard commitments.
  11. Language: The program is limited to applicants who pass the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) at the 2/2 level or higher, in both speaking and listening. Accepted languages:
