Naidu's wife will also vote for TRS in GHMC polls

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lashed out at AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, while addressing the huge TRS public meeting for GHMC elections at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad on Saturday evening.

Contrary to expectations, KCR dedicated most part of his speech to attack Naidu.

KCR reiterated that Naidu as AP CM had no business in Hyderabad and he has enough work in hand to develop AP and its new capital Amaravathi.

KCR said, "Naidu has been campaigning in Hyderabad for GHMC polls and repeatedly saying that he will not leave Hyderabad. Who asked you to leave Hyderbad. Your wife and our sister-in-law Bhunvaneshwari is already in Hyderabad and looking after your business activities. She is an honest person. When our party activists went to your house in Hyderabad and met her to seek votes, she promised to vote for TRS. We are confident that your wife will definitely vote for TRS in GHMC polls."

KCR's comments evoked thunderous applause from the public who gathered in large numbers.

KCR also ridiculed the claims of Naidu for developing Hyderabad during his stint as CM between 1995 and 2005.

"If that was the case, why is the city facing severe drainage problem, drinking water problem etc. Just a few spells of rain will inundate the entire city. The city even faced regular power cuts for several hours round the year. It is only after TRS coming to power, we made Hyderabad power-cut free. Hyderabad witnessed first power-cut free summer last year after a gap of 30 years and this is the achievement of TRS government," KCR said.

KCR also fired salvos at Naidu's remarks of having his footprints and marks at every nook and corner of the city.

"Yes, I agree that as CM of Undivided AP, you had left your mark on city. Those marks are at Basheerbagh flyover where innocents were killed after you ordered police firing on those who agitated against power tariff hike, the stinking Musi and Hussainsagar lake etc," KCR added.
