In a recent interview with Hyderabad Times, director Sukumar had announced that he is planning to quit directing films after working on a "couple of" ventures. Well, looks like the filmmaker will not be hanging up his boots without a 'Ram Charan film' in his filmography. It is reliably learnt that the Mega Power Star has given his nod to a script narrated by the director.

 

"Sukumar recently met Charan to discuss the possibility of working together. The director bounced a couple of stories he had in mind and Ram Charan was convinced that he would like to work with Sukumar," shares a source close to the actor.

Ram Charan is currently prepping to shoot for the Telugu remake of Tamil film, Thani Oruvan and it is not clear whether the actor will shoot for Sukumar's film simultaneously. "The story hasn't been finalised yet. An official confirmation is likely to be made soon after which the pre-production will also begin," adds the source.
