www.pushmycart.com is started by IT folks in US, with a tag line of "Don't Miss anything from India'.  Their aim is to make sure that we get every product from India. Especially at the time of Festivals, we miss a lot and sometime we even mourn a little bit for coming to US. But this website is supplying Indian stuff at close to Indian prices in US. Ofcourse, the tricky part is they ship products by FedEx 3 days International priority shipping, which costs a lot of money. For example if you buy anything upto 1KG the shipping charges are 26$, which is prohibitive. However, if you buy 10KG stuff the FedEx charges comes to 70 Bucks, which is 7$/ KG.  Not many of us buy 10KG stuff from India on a regular basis. So, this team came up with an Idea of local pickup centers. Using this method of shipping now we can order as little as 250Gms of anything and pay a shipping charge of $1.75 cents + 1$ for local pickup services.   Imagine ordering 250Gms of Pulla Reddy sweet and getting it delivered to US fresh for just about 3 bucks........  This is amazing right..... How it works: if you chose to pickup locally, orders from that area combined and one single shipment is sent to the pick up location. That way the team is able to lower the shipping cost and also remove the restriction or minimum order quantity....   

 

There are lots of products that are now cheaper (even after shipping charges) comparing to what we pay in US......

you are not even a customer.. you are just a road side jealous guy crying doing nothing... we are solving lots of problems for the community.... we are not old management school that you went... if somebody is doing BS.... they are doing BS>.... whether they are customers are not... Answer specifically what went wrong so that people know in the forum.... reveal your true colors..... A real customer who dealt with us will absolutely know what we are doing...  fakes like you will never know that...

hahaha..... so how did that end up in getting bad products??????   Is that like a sour grapes for you??   As you stated earlier let people know what did you order and what bad products you got wrong or bad... prove it first...  

 

we answer 99% of the time within time...  There is a online and off line contact us forms... did you use that ever???

 

Let a genuine customer stand up here and raise an issue with order number and products ordered and issues faced and we never addressed those issues....   I bet .... not even one.. go find one....

If you buy ten Kgs it will be only $7 per Kg and if you choose local pickup it will cost only $1.75 per quarter KG(+ $1 per item local surcharges).

That's a good question brother.  Let me try to answer that.  We all know that there are courier companies who will ship the products that you give them.  Now a days they charge about 525 Rs per KG when you at least give them about 10 kgs.  Right!!     

 

What we are doing is:  We want to provide a service in US where people can buy stuff online without troubling their parents/ siblings or friends.  We are charging only about 450Rs per KG. when you buy 10KGs or more. Which means we are cheaper by about 15% in our shipping charges comparing to best of the class courier companies.  Why are we doing that???  We are doing it because we don't want to make money in courier jobs.  We want to make a little profit to cover our credit card cost+ packing +shipping services + courier charges.  If you just buy 1KG it would be 22$ which is exorbitant we know, but we can't help it because that's how much FedEx charges.  

 

When our volumes goes up, we promise to bring down that prohibiting shipping charges down so that people can take the benefit of our low prices... 

 

For now, we have opened pick up location in about 14 cities across US.  We are pooling the orders from that locations and shipping them to one location so that the shipping charges comes down.  Any of the people in those locations can order as little as 250 Gms for $ 1.75 shipping charges + 1 $ per item towards pickup location service charges...   Can you imagine getting 250Gms from all over 9000 KMS for a price of $ 1.75 +1?  

 

We are making zero money on shipping (Courier).... we just pass that cost to you.... Hope this explains what we are doing... Thanks for reading...
