DevOps anedhi oka role. Its not a technology. In traditional companies, developers/testers handover release builds to ops. ops deploy them. DevOps engineer will have slightly more understanding of the product and works closely with the corresponding developer before release. He also should setup/configure/maintain other internal tools required by Developers to do their work and write a few small scripts to automate processes. Note that there is no DEVelopment involved in DevOps role.

Thread starter "sagam_simham" Devops ni oka technology anukuntunnaadu. He is on OPT, just a fresher. Looks like he does not have much idea about technologies.

 

Devops is a role like Developer,  Tester, Support Engineer. Its not a technology like J2EE or .NET

 

Career ante whether you want to grow as a software developer or tester or dba or ops eng. Talent unnodu right career ni choose cheskovali. Anthe gaani em theleekunda evado DevOps DevOps ante adhi oka language or platform anukuni fake exp tho doorithe elaa bhayya. (consultancies anni fake exp lu pedthayi if u ask me why it is fake exp)
