Indian Cricket Players: Salary Earnings List Bcci

Note: This list does not include IPL contracts and endorsement fees

According to BCCI policies, there are three categories for the players that BCCI sign, namely - Grades A, B and C. These gradations are done by the recent performances and experience level. Debutants who have not been previously signed, will be included in grade C for one year. All the contracts last for a year themselves and the salaries are paid in monthly basis.

 

For the session 2014-15 the list of players is :

 

GRADE A :

 

MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Basic Pay: Rs 1 crore ( $ 190,000) 

Per Test match fees: Rs 500,000

Per ODI fees: Rs 300,000

 

GRADE B :

 

Pragyan Ojha, Cheteshwar Pujara, Murali Vijay, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Mohammed Shami 

Basic Pay: Rs 50 Lakh ( $ 95, 000)

Per Test match fees: Rs 300, 000

Per ODI fees: Rs 175,000

 

GRADE C:

 

Amit Mishra, Varun Aaron, Wriddhiman Saha, Stuart Binny, Punkaj Singh, Vinay Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni, Pervez Rasool, Axar Patel, Manoj Tiwari, Robin Uthappa, Karn Sharma, Sanju Samson, Kuldeep Yadav, KL Rahu

Basic Pay: Rs 25 Lakh ( $48,000)

Per Test match fees: Rs 150,000 

Per ODI fees: Rs 100,000

Apart from these, there are some special schemes fulfilling which one gets some bonus.

 

Winning a test match against a team in ICC Top 3 ranking – 50% more in match fees

 

Winning a test series against ICC top 3 team – 100% more in match fees

 

Winning ICC World Cup (ODI or T20) – 300% more in match fees

 

Scoring a Test or ODI hundred – Rs 500,000

 

Double century in Test or ODI – Rs 700,000

 

Taking 5 wicket haul in ODI or Test Innings – Rs 500,000

 

Taking 10 wicket haul in test matches – Rs 700,000

Grade B (INR 10 lakhs): Smriti Mandana, Rajeswari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bist, Veda Krishnamurthy, Niranjana Nagarajan, Poonam Raut.

Note: If a player who is not in the list of contracted players plays a minimum of three matches Test/ODI/T20I, he or she will be added in Grade ‘C’/Grade ‘B’, respectively.
