I am checking Jowar , Wheat , but they have equal carbs and calories almost similar 

ini days roti is very low in calories anukunna

 

Best non carbohydrate food suggestion indian style and also which  website do u use for calorie count for indian food

Asal no rice ...only chapathi lu that too intlo made...lost 46 pounds so far what are your wants??

Total weight loss requirement is 30 kilos or 66 pounds , target is 8 months 

total lost 7 pounds in 4 weeks

 

Want to stop rice only at night , but still want to eat rice during afternoon 

Night ke Indian food with minimal calories but  should feel like starving 

 

Eppudu eating some watermelon along with 2 idlis at night

Hey..Jowar has got lots of iron in it, its definetly a good pick if u are bored eating phulkas every day..but its really tough to make a jowar dough .

 

carbs in limits are not bad ,There are many diet programs like high carb low fat (hclf diets ) on which people claim they are loosing weight..

 

refined carbs like breads should be avoided at any cost..

 

sugar intake should be lowered , like sodas should be cut totally..

 

try to consume fruits before 5 PM everyday..

 

try to consume more vegetables like cucumbers , zucchini, sorakay, beets .

 

Greens lo make sure u r consuming lots of spinach and kale ( I used to take spinach and kale with ginger as a smoothie( dont filter the pulp ) for a straight 10 days and lost around 6 lb with exercise(strength training )  in a week ..

 

greens do miracles ..never skip them ..its best if u have them raw in a smoothie..

 

 

Try to add flax seeds and chia seeds if you are a vegetarian like me ..

If you are looking for rice replacements, try

1)quinoa ( u can get it at costco around 12$ )..

 

2)couscous(Mediterranean ) easily available at almost all desi stores..(around 4-5$)

 

3)amarnath or rajgaro ( people generally eat this in northern india when they are fasting )..(3$)

 

4) whole wheat pasta ..( make sure the ingredients read just  100% whole wheat durum atta )(2$)

 

try one pot whole wheat pasta recipes ( they dont even require oil )  they are damn healthy and can be made easily for dinner 

 

u can load it with lots of veggies and u can have a dinner for less than 300 Cal
