seems like AWS redshift and Azure Dataware house both has similar options.. interms of scale, design, network, monitoring, audit etc

here are differences and when to choose what https://www.flydata.com/microsoft-azure-data-warehouse-vs-amazon-redshift/

redshift ki bagane undi talk. hadoop/hive is fast, but every query runs in similar time, smallest count(*) takes 5 minutes, and the largest group by's take 5 minutes, so extensive small queries run chese shops prefer redshift, as it's sql like on cloud

airbnb has a case study on their website for redshift, they say they're happy

minor changes. these days rdbms anni using ansi sql as base query language. architecture and performance tuning daggara there are a ton of differences, but ansi sql vaste, you can do querying on all modern rdbms's. redshift lo vadedi kooda basic sql no. I bet your company usecase is they have postgres for local dwh or some source repository, and have etl loads onto redshift from it. business users will query on redshift
