Bro okappudu full time chesevadini one year. 9 am - 5 pm as usual work, meetings etc. Aa taravata maa off shore team India lo undedi vallaki support ivalsi vacchedi daily night 9 pm to 12 am. Ivanni chesina manager gaadu psycho gadila behave chesevadu, quit chesi contracting lo ki vaccha I have more peace of mind now. Although I still work as a koolie with a desi body shop.

 

So not all FTs are the same.

Andukey bro okappudu ikkada US lo work/life balance undedi. Employees were highly discouraged from working past 5 pm and unless they had a compelling reason to do weren't allowed to do that. So most of these families could enjoy some quality family time atleast from 5 pm to 11 pm etc. 

 

Now a days with outsourcing and shit that's totally gone. India lo I have friends that work 13-14 hours a day like coolies for 10 lakhs per annum, now because of outsourcing even the work culture in US is going that way. Companies have realized they could multiply their revenue by undercutting the pay for employees and make them work more and more, if you don't that they will find someone from India who would be grateful to work like a dog and make 3 times more than what he made in India working like a dog. 

 

This is the worst time to be an employee, my suggestion to people would be to not depend on their job for their retirement/future. If you can somehow manage to be an independent businessman, even a small businessman you might be better off. Of course that comes with it's own set of risks and pitfalls anuko.
