python is dying I did not work on python...this is just from what I read in quora and stackoverflow(with most people are for)

two things here :

1. building the house(learning programming)

2. painting it(learning a specific language)

i think you shouldn't worry about painting the house now..that said if you want to be good at coding you should start with the basics

fundamentals of C then data structures then Algorithms...If you are good at these then learning any new programming language is not  big deal
