This Cop Showed How People React At Traffic Signals

 

 

This morning I jumped a red light while driving and was caught by a cop named Narendra Patil. Before he could say anything I acknowledged my mistake and offered to pay the legitimate fine and he asked for my license. After a few moments he returned my license and said he liked how I humbly acknowledged my mistake and said that’s enough and no need to pay the fine. He said everyone he catches argues and fights with him and tries to justify even if they blatantly violate the traffic rules. He asked me to wait with him for few minutes and see how people behave. After just 5 minutes we saw few cars jumping the red light and he caught one of the cars. The Man who was driving, his son and man’s wife started yelling and arguing that the light was yellow and not red but we both clearly saw it was red and he let them go and told me that he just wanted to show me how ”educated” people behave.

 

I told him how important he is and he is doing a commendable job amidst such heat and pollution. I told him the city will go crazy with traffic violations if we don’t have people like him and I truly felt grateful and thankful to him and for what he does.
