ok excel or CSV file import chesthunna SQL DB loki...

adi truncated error vasthundi.. understood that some fields in few columns are more than allowed space limit. Found that that particular column table has extra lines .....

so need help to clean /remove those extra lines from a column.

 

I am Beginner here. searched in internet but couldn't find what i want..

any help here ?

i am not an expert but aa column trim cheyyochu anukunta zutiy.gif

trim cheyyochu naku telusu man.. but adey ela cheyyalo teludu

trim cheyyali antey first data sql lo tables laga import avvali kada..

asalu data unstrucured format ga excel/csv file lo undi.. dani structured format ga cheyyali.. asalu aa excel file ni import chesthuntey ne truncated error 4 vasthundi .....column size entha penchina (max) ani pettina no use..same error

column undali.. column cell lo data has more than one line.. and some cells have more than 100-200 lines.. andulo extra lines chala unnai .....avi theseyali

u can trimm that colum in excel only uncle okasari check ceyyi zutiy.gif

You can use the MID function in excel to select only the first 15 characters of your cell. MID allows you to select a substring. The syntax is =MID(data cell, starting character, length). In your case, if your text is in column A3, you would use =MID(A3,1,15)

Yes ee rendu vadachu all you will do is in excel so title excel experts ani pettu ostharu...inkonthamandi..............Sql daka avasarma ledhu
