Paleru Mla Passed Away

Former Minister Ramreddy Venkatreddy passed away on Friday morning. He was Minister in the Cabinets of former chief Ministers YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy. He was a staunch supporter of the late YSR.

Venkatreddy was among the few Congress MLAs who could retain their seats in the 2014 assembly elections. He was elected from Palair in Khammam district. 

For some time, Venkatreddy had been ailing, and was being treated at KIMS Hospital. His health seemed to be improving, but suddenly it went for the worse. He died during the treatment at KIMS. 

He was Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee.
