Given how horrible the entire culture is. It has formalised casteism, treated a section of society as less than human, has several unstructured diety worships that violate human/animal rights, and still is romanticised in the West.

 

Being a Hindu is not looked down upon in the West, which is sad. I wish and I will hope I can convince more non-hindus to look down upon Hinduism.

 

Let me tell you why. Hindus have become too lethargic, and are spouting nonsense, when it comes to supporting their religion. 

 

because being a hindu did not trouble others. it did not threaten the safety of the society. it just pucked the followers who thought that they are following hinduism in India.

 

outside India, its way different. 

 

its the Indian-ism that is mistreating people. pick any religion in India. it has casts , segregation and idol worship. including is lam and christianity. once it reached India, it has to get dissected into sects and should do idol worship and puck the people with hatred.

then you missed the point. the point is, if someone criticizes hinduism, how well can you defend it.

 

the way you are doing now is not the way, but that is besides the point. I'm too lazy to search and point to instances of outright discrimination in hindu literature and in contemporary Hindu society , but many can.

 

the point is, will you defend such discrimination, or will you fight the guy questioning the discrimination? or atleast do the decent thing and keep quiet.

that's what I said. this is why Hindus look like fools,when they defend casteism in their culture, with complicated pointless arguments about varna, and how their history panned out.

 

They can't answer the question, why can't you get it rid of it now. it's not the 19th century, when outsiders are ruling you.
