Why Do People Support Trumph ?

people are fed up of liberal policies. mostly of trade deals.

 

support for those policies is across both parties, so they support someone who's saying BS about how he's against such trade deals

 

Its funny to see politicians promise abrogation of trade deals, and bringing back 'jobs' to the US. Including Bernie Sanders.

many intelligent conservatives are rooting for Trump. Their only logic is, anyone is better than Hillary.

 

They pick and chose what they like about Trump. They ignore his racist rants as well deserved smack in the face for the liberal elite, etc.

 

Some of these intelligent people are stupid enough to believe the BS Trump is saying. They actually think he can accomplish the things he says he will.

And settle for vastly degraded competitiveness of US' industries. Unless they are fine with letting robots do all the work.

But the Trump himself is unsure about

 

1. increasing minimum wage 

2. Providing Universal Healthcare (Trump's plan is fcuking stupid on this)

3. Whether to allow skilled/unskilled immigration

 

His supporters simply want to oppose the dems, and vote against their own interests. Because each of Trump's final call will be against their interests, and in favour of corporates - Remember, he's master at deal making, but he makes deals for himself, never for others.

Sad for the people who are affected by globalisation, but the alternative is living under serflords.

 

Or may be its time to rethink concept of State. May be its better to reorganize govt. into coalition of cities, and do away with the utterly useless federal govt. and concept of a nation.

I can understand one liking a particular place/country, because of fond memories, but pride?

why 50% premium. company profits can go down, or some other competition will come.  even then paying 50% extra is tolerable as long as there are jobs, and they will be.

 

minimum wage will increase. almost all west coast states have resolutions towards increase by 2020, rest of country will follow soon. east lo ny already did some backdoor tricks for minimum wage increase so that a bill/law doesn't need to be passed

 

universal healthcare. status quo on obamacare will continue

 

immigration also, same status quo
