timmy Posted March 17, 2016 Report Share Posted March 17, 2016 For four months, two men in Hyderabad, Yahiya Mohd Ishaque and his brother-in-law Mohd Shahroz Ansari, made a killing ordering electronic goods online. Simply, because they were not paying for these goods.From mobile phones to laptop to DVD to camera, they would order on Amazon and Flipkart.When the delivery boy arrived, one of them would engage the boy in a conversation while the other would carry the packet inside on the pretext of fetching the debit card.Inside, the packet would be deftly opened, the electronic good removed and allegedly replaced with sand of equal weight and repacked as before.Once outside, the debit card would show no balance and they would apologise and the delivery boy would carry the packet back.This way they managed to steal a range of expensive smart phones, a laptop, a camera, DVD player and even a bike.That Ishaque is registered as an online dealer for Amazon books and was an expert in repacking items only helped.
