3)you will recieve letters acknnowledging ur request.it will have a case number.DOL will email you this.For perm DOL will ask a authorization letter which you might need to notarize.

 

4)uscis will also send an email/letter in case of any further information needed.

 

5) for me it took less  than 2 months (close to 6 weeks)

6)you will get the original i-140 form which ur emloyer applied(not the approval form) with apporved stamp on it.for perm ythey will send perm copy.fill as much details as you know in g-639

7)your emp will not know of this request
