Do we need Mexico visa? if YES, How & Where to apply? etc. Rest of the visa process pretty much same right.. so interested about Mexico travel relatedi.

if you have valid US visa then you can travel with that otherwise, yes we need mexico visa.

looks like simple process to get Mexican visa.. i guess just need to walk in to nearest Mexican consulate with below documents and no need to any appointment.

 

Visas for visitors without authorization for lucrative activities

 

 

This type of visa is for you if:

 

• You are traveling to Mexico for vacations, transit, business, technical activities, artistic activities, scientific activities, sport activities, correspondent or journalist, ministers of religion.
• You will be in Mexico for up to 180 days.
• You don´t have a work authorization.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

* Apply at this Consulate General in person.
* Fill out the Application form. 
* Valid passport in original and one photocopy of the pages containing personal information, photograph of bearer and expiration date/extensions.
* Valid US visa for multiple entries and one photocopy.
* Valid I-94 and/or I-20 or J-1 or I-797A Form in original and one photocopy.
* One photo passport size (size 2 x 2 inches), in color, no glasses.
* Proof of economic solvency:

 

- Proof of employment, employment letter, pay stubs from the last three months, if  you have direct deposit bring the last three months of your bank statements OR

 

* Consular fee.

Visas - Traveling to Mexico

General Information:

1. Effective March 1st 2010, all US Citizens are required to present U. S. Passport or U.S. Passport Card when entering Mexico (traveling by air, land or sea).

2. US Permanent Residents traveling by air, land or sea to Mexico are required to present a valid Permanent Resident Card. Plus a valid and not expired passport or travel document. If you do not have that card consult other documentation also accepted to prove the US Permanent Residence status (Link).

3. Other nationalities, Non-US Permanent Residents. Starting May 1st, 2010, all those foreign nationals, regardless of their nationality, visiting Mexico for tourist, business or transit matters won't need a Mexican visa as long as they have with them a valid and not expired USA visa in the passport. In this context, if you have a valid US visa in the passport you do not need to obtain a Mexican visa.

4. If the US visa stamped in your passport already expired but you have an official document or form proving your legal status in USA, you should apply for a Mexican visa at this Consulate (I-797 A Forms, Advance Parole Forms, I-20 OR DS-2019 Forms won’t be good enough for entering to Mexico). No appointment is required to apply for Visa. Applicants should apply in person Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Further questions email:[email protected] Diplomatic and Official visas. nenu naa 2nd h1 stamp ki vella bro...they dont do any COS only existing stamping ki extension chestaru..nenu vellinappudu my existing h1stamp expire iyyindi so to be careful i took a mexican visiting visa for 6 months by paying $33 and giving then copys of 6 months of pay stubs or 6 months bank staement...they I went to Tijuana border from LA by train and crossed border by walk..day 1 finger prints day 2 intrw day 3 pp collection same day border crossed and came back to USA antha kalipi oka $200 kuda avvaledu stay ki..so this is it..all the best
