Mercury levels continued to soar here, touching 39.4 degree Celsius on Thursday, the season’s highest so far. As per Met prediction, the temperatures could touch 40 degree Celsius in the coming three to four days. Thursday’s maximum of 39.4 degree C was March month’s third highest in the past decade.
