Modi All Praise For Telangana Government's Schemes

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while reviewing the progress of key infrastructure and related projects in various states, has complimented the Telangana government for its various initiatives,

 

Modi on Wednesday held a video conference - (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) PRAGATI with chief secretaries of all the states. Chief secretary of Telangana Rajiv Sharma and other officials participated in the video conference.

 

During his interaction with chief secretaries, the Prime Minister complimented Telangana government’s initiatives and how the state was getting permissions in a coordinated manner, especially forest and environmental clearances for its irrigation and other projects.

He reviewed the projects of road and rail connectivity, bridges, power transmission lines, coal, atomic energy, and industrial infrastructure. In the course of these reviews, the Prime Minister repeatedly stressed how improved coordination between the Centre and states could help avoid delays and cost overruns in the projects.

He called for further concerted efforts to build on the momentum, to create a positive perception.
