One student suffered injuries on his arm as the students broke the glass panes of V-C's lodge on the university campus, minutes before he was to brief presspersons about resuming the office. University officials requisitioned additional police forces to deal with the situation on the campus.

Students targeted VC's lodge where an executive committee meeting was in progress and broke windowpanes, flower pots, computers and everything that came in their way. The students then bolted the room where the executive committee meeting was in progress from inside for nearly an hour. Only after the intervention of police, the students walked out of the VC's Lodge.
