I AM IN VIJAYAWADA AT THE TIME OF RELEASE OF RIKSHAVODU,VAJRAM 
AND VAMSANIKOKKADU.
THE NOON SHOW OF 4TH DAY OF RIKSHAVODU IS NOT FULL.IF YOU WANT PLEASE 
SEE THE STATISTICS OF THE DISTRUBUTOR.EVEN THE HERO FANS DID NOT TRY 
FOR KEEPING THE BOARDS AS THEY CAME TO KNOW THE FATE OF THE MOVIE.
This particular movie did not have a housefull from the very first day 
of third week.It even did not have a housefull board in the festival
days where all the theatres were full.
ALL MY FRIENDS WHO ARE IN INDIA SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT RIKSHAVODU
IS RELEASED A WEEK LATE AFTER THE GIVEN DATE.AND THE NIZAM AREA IS
KEPT BY CHIRANJEEVI AFTER THAT WEEK AS THERE ARE NO BUYERS.EVEN THE
VIZAG AREA WAS NOT SOLD AND WAS DISTRUBUTED IN THE LAST MOMENT ON
COMMISSION BASIS BY KANTHI PICTURES ON THE DAY BEFORE THE MOVIE IS
RELEASED.
REGARDING THE THING THAT BIGBOSS RAN FOR 40 DAYS,I can tell one thing
any movie hit or flop runs for a minimum of 40 days in Vijayawada,
ASWAMEDHAM -50 DAYS IN APSARA
DHARMAKSETRAM -50 DAYS
TOP HERO -70 DAYS
SUPER POLICE -50 DAYS
CRIMINAL -100 DAYS
GOVINDA GOVINDA -50 DAYS
GAANDIVAM -50 DAYS
MUDDULA PRIYUDU -50 DAYS.
 I am also sure that Vajram is going to run for more than 70 days 
despite it being a super flop.This is becuase of the craze Nagarjuna
has now a days and the following he has especially in Vijayawada.

Regarding PEDARAYUDU it is expected to gross 65 crores(It bagged 20
crores in first 100 days and not in first run) in the first distrubution
period ie in the first 5 years.This is not a producers advt ,but the
news in Eenadu.Eenadu published a special article regarding this movie
as it was the highest grosser not only in Telugu but in the entire
South India.According to Rajanikanth it grossed more than BAASHA in
Tamilnadu.A good news is that Mohanbabu kept all the rights of the 
movie to himself and Rajanikanth financed the film when the production
was halted due to the lack of funds.
Regarding Rikshavodu if it is considered to be a hit,then even
Brahmarshi Viswamitra should be considerad a superhit.
REGARDING HIGHEST NUMBER OF DAYS IN VJA it is Gharana Mogudu followed 
by ALLARI PRIYUDU and not SHIVA.The fans of one star threatened to break
the theatre if Allari priyudu is allowed to run the next day.That is the
reason why it was one day less.
THE MOVIE WHICH HAS THE HIGHEST COLLECTION IN Vja is undoubtly
Pedarayudu followed by Hello brother Major Chandrakanth and Gharana
Mogudu,Chanti.
THE MOVIE WHICH WENT FOR THE HIGHEST NO OF DAYS WITH HOUSE FULL BOARDS
IS HELLO BROTHER in Apsara.
AT PRESENT CHIRANJEEVI HAS NO TELUGU MOVIE IN PRODUCTION.
As for Nagarjun's movie with Sushmithasen he is making 1.5 crores as he
is not taking the Tamil Dubbing rights.Usually Nagarjun's remuneration
is 75lakhs+50% of Tamil dubbing rights.It is started soon after the 
release of UDAYAM(SHIVA) in Tamil,which is stated to have crossed
Rajani's PANAKKARAN released on the same day.The movie HELLOBROTHER was
also a superhit in Tamil.Even Vajram is stated to get 1.5 crores as 
dubbing rights.
VAMSANIKOKKADU IS EXPECTED TO MAKE 50 IN 60 CENTRES AND 100 IN 30
CENTRES.

I want to comment of the fact published by Jyothi Chitra .
The telugu rights of Nag's movie is just 4 crores.This is the
range of the undoubtedly the No1 star of Telugu industry.Can any one
imagine a flop movie of a flop star grossing 4.2 crores in first week.It
should make sense to every one.If a movie grosses 4.2 crores in first 
week it should be released in 500 theatres with 200 odd prints and all
the ticket rates should be increased again.Any movie released in 250
centres can gross only 2crores in first week.I would like to remind
every one that according to the producer of GHARANAMOGUDU it grossed 4
crores in the first 50 days.Chiranjeevi was at his peak level at that
time.Now even if the ticket rates are hiked does it sound sensible that
RIKSHAVODU can gross 4.2 crores in 1 week.(GM was almost release in the
same no of theatres as RK)

Looks like u have got all the facts wrong. I still wonder where u got the 67
number for pedarrayudu, when its only 37 published in superhit.

For ur info, pedaraayudu is a remake of a tamil movie 'Naattammai'. That movie
was obviously a superhit and thats why it has been made in telugu. Rajni helped
mohanbabu to get the telugu rights. U cannot count the money it made in 
tamil as that movie is not the dubbed version of the telugu movie.

For  a fact, Apsara is owned by my friend, and its he who told me that houseful broke on 21st day and thats a fact.

Vajram is not even going to run for 50 days in vij.
Criminal did not run for 100 days in vij in a single theater.

GM 100 days theaters are 65 and not 55.

I think u wrote that there's not chiru a movie in production.
 That clearly shows the
level of intelligence of  ones writings.
Chiru is acting in Kannada 'Sipai' as a guest star. The role in the movie was initially planned to be a song and two fights. As scheduled the audio was released

but without chiru on the leaflet of the cassette.
 Since chiru has a very wide following
in Kannada, the fans burnt down all the audio tapes. So the producer ravichandra
had to recall alll the remaining stock and reprint the leaflets.
With this the producer also thought that the movie may not run if the role of chiru
is restricted to just a song. So he increased the role to 30 min.
Due to this he had to schedule some of his dates to the Kannada film.

Also bhooloka veerudu with singeeetham has been scraped. Now aswini dutt has 
signed upendra to direct chiru.
This will be his next movie after rikshavodu.
After that its either Raagavendra rao's own film (RK associates) or  
chiru's own film (dir: suresh krishna , heroine - madhuri dixit!!!??? in telugu
for the first time). There's a forth coming movie with kodi as director under
the purnodaya banner. Right now story discussuions are under going for the above
movies.

 Its said that rikshavodu did not get released in some areas. The film was sold much much before it
completed production. For a fact, its released in over 250 theaters with 
over 120 prints

Also, Sipai (telugu - dubbed form kannada) is already sold in entire AP even 
before it had its telugu dubbing done.

Super police and dharma kshetram never even ran for 50 days. The figure 20
crores was announced by dasari in 200 day function of pedaraayudu. He said
that the movie collected so much till then. So its obvious that 20
crore is not a 100 day collection. 
Lastly, one can still get the collections of rikshavodu (first week) from
superhit. Rikshavodu is above average in A centers and a hit in B & C centers.
If one can't understand this than they can ask for explanation.

Nags price of 75 lakhs that I stated takes into account all the dubbing rights
that he may get. No one is going to pay 1.5 crores for a super flop movie.
Vajram has nothing in it . Not even good songs.

Kunjumon (producer of Rakshakan) has stated in a tamil interview that 
sen is getting more than Nag. And Sen's price was published in India
Today as 1 crore. It also came in some movie mags.

The highest ever dubbing rights paid in telugu industry's history is for
Kaadhalan (premikudu) -- about 1 crore. In fact Mannan( Tamil original of GM 
had Rajini in it, but the rights were some pits 25 lakhs)
The same does not hold for tel to tamil movies. 
Telugu audience watch any movie whether its dubbed or not. Tamil audience 
do not encourage dubbed movies. Thats the reason for the unbalance in the
dubbing rigths of tam to tel and tel to tam.

In my 6 yrs stay in Madras, the only movies that got a good theatrical release
were Udhayam (shiva), 
Idhayathay thirudaadhe (Geetanjali - Manirathnam, obviously),
Gang Leader(produced by allu arvind in tamil) and Kaadhal Devathai 
(JVAS- produced by Illairaaja in tamil). all the others got released in soome crappy theaters
which don't even get a good weekly gross.
Of course, aththaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu was remade in tamil with Rajini
(Maappillai). So is Yamudiki Mogudu (adhisaya piravi).

Chiru always takes the Nizam distr rights. Thats a known fact. so does Rajni in
Tamil. He gets North arcot district.

I guess then that number refers to shifts and late released theaters by the 
100th day. The number that I gave you is direct 100 days' theaters, which
came in superhit as an annual review. Also, sometimes if a distributor has
a print running continuosly for 100 days in his region, then they tend to get the credit for the theater which has the movie on its 100th day.

In fact that way, Alluda Majaaka direct 100 days is only 27. But if u include
everything like theater shifts with in the district, then the number crosses
50.

week of January where it analysed the movies of 95.I could get this
issue if you still want proofs.
4)I am ready to bet about the running of Vajram in Vijayawada.It will
run for 50 days minimum.This is not because that the movie is good.But
any Nagarjun's movie will run for a minimum of 50 days in vja now.

I donot have touch with Kannada film industry.

and Sitara it is expected to achieve around 65 crores in the first
run.The same was repeated in SITARA isuue released in the first
week of January where it analysed the movies of 95.I could get this
issue if you still want proofs.
4)I am ready to bet about the running of Vajram in Vijayawada.It will
run for 50 days minimum.This is not because that the movie is good.But
any Nagarjun's movie will run for a minimum of 50 days in vja now.
5)I donot want to comment on the kannada issue about sipayi because
I donot have touch with Kannada film industry.
6)Super Police ran for 50 days in Vinoda (Now Priyadarsini).This movie
is distrubuted by SURESH.
7)CRIMINAL ran for 105 days in ALANKAR.This movie is distrubuted by
Geetha pictures.It is the first movie that ran for 100 days in renovated
Alankar after its demolition by the goons.
8)Nagarjun's remuneration is 75lakhs + half of Tamilrights.
9)All what you told about Kunjuman's interview might have been read
in any yellow movie journal.For your information no producer gives a 
statement that heroine of the movie is taking more remuneration than
the hero.
10)This is in response to your statement that tamil audience donot 
encourage dubbed movies.Please donot give false statements.

I did live in KKNagar.
BTW, the first week collections of vamsaanikokkadu in Nizam is 40 lakhs. The same for
rikshavodu is 80. How can u say that maatho pettukoku collected 4 crores.
He might have had the initial but it cannot beat
rikshavodu.
Also, vajram first week collection in nizam is 45 lakhs.

Superhit is started by BA Raju well known filmjournalist. He gets the stats from trade guide and distributors.
It can never be wrong.

For ur info, Nagma is the highest paid actor in tamil for the past2 yrs since
baasha and premikudu. Now its sushmita sen followed by aishwarya rai.

Nevertheless, there is one fact that vijayashanthi became a superstar
after mannan and karthavyam. Her movies get some of the highest
dubbing rates. 
I don't need the contact numbers that u said u can provide. My brother
is an active member and is well aquainted with Jagdeesh or venkanna Babu.

The new movie of chiru (aswini dutt dir : upendra) was supposed to start on 
Jan 18th. I don't know the currnt status now.
BTW, sipai was released in kannada for pongal.

I forgot to mention one issue. The theater complexes
of madras
 u mentioned
have mini theaters, like rambha in vijayawada.
Its better to have the movie in a crappy big theater than such mini theaters.
Prema - Devi kala
Polixce Lockup - Suriyan - noon show
Ithuthaanda Police (aknusam) noon show in chandran (udhayam complex).
Idhayathai thirudaadhe (inspite of manirathnam) - noon show in 
udhayam - only big theater.

The same is not the case of dubbed tamil movies in telugu. They get re
leased in normal theaters as straight telugu movies.

I guess u follow what I am trying to say.

Do u call these good theatrical releases.

STRR:Venkatesh,Ramya and Prema
Dir:Suresh krishna
Response:A different movie in the career of
Venkatesh which makes him a strong contender
for best actor award.Music by MM Sreelekha is 
very good.The picturising of songs in Canada
was just amazing.Inspite of a weak story line
Sureshkrishna kept audience under his grip.
The role of Ramyakrishna is nominal.

3)PELLI SANDADI
STRR:Srikanth,ravali and Deepthi Batnagar
Dir:Raghavendrarao
Response:Once again Raghavendrarao proved 
to be the best.Rated to gross above Allari
Priyudu.taking the story line of HAHK the
SouthIndian showman made it again keeping 
the viewers spell bound.All songs are just
superb.
4)SAMPRADAYAM
STRR:Krishna,Indraja
Dir:SV Krishna Reddy
Response:A consolation for SVK after his
VAJRAM.The story line is good mixed with
some good dialogues.A perfect movie for
the Superstar who lives to his image.Songs
were OK.

5)MUMMY MEE AYANA VACHADU
STRR:RajendraPrasad,Indraja
Dir:K.Ajay kumar
Response:A Rajendra brand movie.Nothing special
but fine for timepass.

6)VAMSANIKOKKADU
STRR:Balkrishna,Ramyakrishna,Aamani
Dir:Sarath
Response:The first best grosser of 96.The story is
very good with equally good performances by BK and
Satyanarayana.Music is equally good .It is a good break
for Sarath who came in the line of top directors.For BK
it is really a good movie at good time.

7)SOGGADI PELLAM
STRR:Mohanbabu,Ramyakrishna
Dir:Muthyala Subbayya
Response:Another hit for the Collection King.
A sentiment movie in which Ramyakrishna too
acted.Mohanbabu proves to be a versatile actor
once again.
