Why are they asking for a paystub "after" they gave you an offer. That does not make sense. Anyways, find out why they need your paystub. HR should not ask your paystub unless they are asking to send it to immigration attorney's office. Did they have any offer terms which require for you to give them your paystub otherwise?

If the HR is asking for a paystub for immigration attorney's purposes then just give it to them and don't mention anything. HR does not care about your past salary if they already have you an offer. You can negotiate salary even if you get 60K. It only depends upon what they are willing to offer thats all.

Check if you can directly deal with their immigration attorney instead. You can skip all this BS.
