on a serious note I don't really understand what's really wrong in holding an offshore account unless it's against the law  , which clearly is not the case here

Indian laws regarding foreign noldings are extremely stupid. pretty sure 99.99% of those holding these offshore accounts do it without govt. knowledge.

What about those guys who incorporate in Silicon Valley/Singapore/UK while doing their entire business from India. That's another level of 'illegal' activity according to the govt.

There's a difference between a UK fellow using these holdings and an Indian doing it. Very hard to explain it to people who are angry that they are losing 'their' money.

item gaallaki teliyandi enti ante almost all of india's multi billion $ startups are incorporated in singapore to evade the taxes , so much for make in india lol 

what Big B did is not against the law , so it shouldnt really matter ......
