AP youth slips into coma after accident in US

A youth from Guntur suffered severe injuries in an accident in Texas in the US on Saturday. M Jayabharath Reddy from Venkataramana Colony in Guntur was pursuing MS final year in Texas University.

On Saturday, he went for a cinema along with his friend and while they were returning in a car, a truck coming in the opposite direction hit it, resulting in serious injuries to Reddy. His friend, who was driving the car, suffered minor injuries. The 24-year–old Reddy was rushed to a hospital in Texas, where he slipped into coma.

Meanwhile, his parents Sambasiva Reddy and Sarojini Devi are worried over the condition of their son. They have sought help of Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao to obtain Tatkal passports. The MP also consulted the US Consulate General and also the External Affairs Ministry for arranging an emergency VISA for them.
