niku mottam enta kharchu ayndi ? vetiki support cheyali

Usmle step 1 $900, step 2 CK $900, Step 2 CS $1600, Step 3 part 1 $750, Step 3 part 2 $750- Just exams ki

Preparation and material ki each exam ki minimum $ 300 avuthundi. Ivi kaka US lo unte living expenses extra (I mean India lo ayithe, parents easy ga support cheyyagalaru kada ani).

Next interviews apply cheyyataniki atleast $3000 and once you get interviews, you need to spend money for flight tickets and hotel stay etc. (Ex $500 per interview). High scores is key for USMLE.

Ikkada chala mandi generalized ga matladuthunnaru. As I said earlier, both APPG and USMLE are very tough and needs a lot of work. But APPG ki money investment chala takkuva. You just need to sit in library and study for the whole year. USMLE is too much expensive. If you do PG in India, now their salaries are around 25000-30000 rupees per month for 3 years. Residency is for 3 years (some specialties like Neurology, Psychiatry are 4 years) and you start with $50,000 (take home $3000-3500 per month after taxes), which is good for a single person. If married, need to adjust a bit.

Again in India, after PG you need to establish yourself with a lot of support from caste, money, family, publicity, etc...In US, you just sign the contract and get 170-200k per year. (I got an offer of $380 k, I am doing 2nd year)

Somebody said lot of J1 rejections. I never heard in the past 10 years about a J1 rejection for residency. There are different sub categories in J1. But for residency, chances of visa rejection is very low.
