Philly,NJ and Maryland area..... salary negotiation is common anywhere...you need to tell HR that what you are asking is reasonable for your skill set and experience, that you are loosing the potential to get paid more in future as you will be sticking to this company for long time and there will not be any significant hikes until you get promoted...your employer already gives you vacation for 2-3 weeks and bonus company will be offering is not guaranteed component and you are already getting more with hourly pay and blah blah blah.....one thing is for sure....oka sari join ithe every year 1-3% kante hike ravatam chala kashtam.....so emi negotiate chesina join ayyeteppude cheyyali..once join ayyaka inka vallu icchindhi theesukoni moosukoni koorchovatame...chesedhi emi ledhu....
