Telugu Student Dies In US

In yet another tragic incident of Telugu students losing their lives in the US, M Jayabharath Kumar Reddy, a 24-year-old student from Guntur died after suffering severe injuries in a road accident that took place while on his return after watching Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh in Texas, USA on April 9th.

A native of Venkataramana Colony in Guntur, Jayabharath was pursuing MS final year with Texas University. On the night of April 9, he was returning home after watching the premiere show of Sardaar Gabbar Singh along with his friend. Their car was hit by a speeding truck coming in the opposite direction and Jayabharath sustained serious injuries on his head.

Jayabharath was soon rushed to Christus Spohn Hospital in Texas, where he slipped into coma and the doctors put him on the ventilator. Doctors performed  two surgeries on Jayabharath and kept him under observation for 9 days. On Sunday night, doctors finally declared him brain dead and removed the ventilator. Jayabharath Reddy's mortal remains are expected to arrive in Guntur by Wednesday.
