Innovative, technological advancement and most of the US is built on the people from different parts of the world. It was greatest country but now many countries like japan, china, germany etc are flourishing.

If you talk about best place to live... I would love New Zealand and Sweden.

Given time every Democracy can flourish.. USA is 230+years old, Even though it is not true democratic.  so many factors influence on a particular community starting from Literacy to the behavior of its own citizens..

Not exactly... USA is greatest country only for a brief period ( say from late 1950s to till now ). Before USA there were so many civilizations which were considered as cradle and showed the world how to build a community..

China , Japan and almost entire  Europe were far ahead than USA , infact there was no USA when those countries are doing good..

To your point .. its a cycle. Each and every country, Community go through this. Just like Great Indus, Egyptian, Chinese, Greek, Romans. they all not only flourished once but ruled the world..

best answer. US is great because of its diversity. monocultural closed loop societies tend to fall behind with time.

Japan, China, are mono cultural countries that will never be as great as the US/West. All the countries you mention use currency manipulation to keep their economy afloat, including Germany.

Yes. Move towards acceptance of foreigners with weird beliefs will help any country in the long run.
