Don't rush in having kid's , we did the same thing , my wife education gone , she is now house wife 

we are not able to go any places even though i have lot of time to spend outside , every time i have to make sure my kid is also involved and  you can't leave the kid alone 

we didn't even enjoy 2 months happily and we had baby within one year of our marriage 

So take your time , but don't take to long
